ATTORNEY PROFILES


Renee Meenach-Decker

Renee is a founding member and partner of the firm.  She is also working to obtain a Masters of Law in International Tax and Financial Services through Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  In addition, she also volunteers to help homeowners through the Legal Aid Services of Broward County. 

A graduate of the University of Florida, Renee received her Juris Doctorate from the Levine College of Law.  While in Law School, Renee earned many accolades, including Best Student Awards in Property, Legal Research and Writing, Appellate Advocacy, Advanced Legal Research and Writing and several Seminar classes.  She participated as defense counsel in the Student Court and was co-captain of the University’s Vis Moot team, which competed in an international moot competition in Vienna, Austria.  She received her Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. 

Prior to starting her own firm, Renee worked at a firm in Hollywood, Florida focusing on real estate and commercial litigation.  Additionally, she worked as a clerk to several law firms throughout Florida and interned with the Honorable Judge David Levy at the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, Florida.

Renee is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Broward County Bar Association.  Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the Unites States District Court of Appeal for the Southern District of Florida.



Melanie L. Campbell

Along with managing the firm, Melanie is currently pursuing her Masters of Law degree in International Taxation and Finance from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  She plans to use the knowledge she is gaining from this program to be able to offer her clients a well-rounded and thorough analysis of all the options, and tax consequences, involved in planning their estates.  

Melanie graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law, as valedictorian and commencement speaker of her class.   During law school, she was privileged to be personally selected by former Attorney General, and the (at that time) dean Bob Butterworth, to serve as a Dean's Teaching Assistant, where she taught a section of first-year law students legal writing concepts.   She was also a member of the International Human Rights Law Review, Phi Alpha Delta and the Law School Honor Council.    She received book awards in the following classes: Torts I, Legal Research & Writing, Advanced Legal Research & Writing, and Art of Lawyering.  Prior to graduating, Melanie had the honor of interning at the Third District Court of Appeal with the Honorable Judge David Levy. 

Melanie is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association.  Prior to forming Decker & Campbell, PL, Melanie gained experience as an associate at a small firm that focused on complex business litigation and real estate litigation.
